Food Forest Updates + Our first workshop of the season!

Here are some pictures from our Food Forest Planting on March 3rd! We got some spectacular weather and the help of 15 amazing volunteers. We got our 28 trees planted start to finish in just four hours, working the old-fashioned way.
Check out the pictures, and if you haven’t already, RSVP for our first workshop of the season, Making Shiitake Mushroom Logs with Brooke Kornegay! You can learn how to start your own collection of nutritious mushroom logs. Each participant will go home with a log, and get a hands-on experience on how to prep and spawn logs easily.
Get your tickets online here, or call Ben at 828-434-6571 to make a reservation.
