PSF Hires New IF Director

We are so proud to introduce Kade Castle, our latest Farm Director for the Patterson School Incubator Farm program! In addition to being raised by farmers, thus sharing our historical commitment to the sustainable management of our land and environment, he also is committed to learning from and with others in our community and beyond. His regenerative and forward-thinking approach to his new job, and life, connects deeply with the Patterson tradition and legacy to farm, educate and work with our community. Kade’s interests and values truly reflect those of Samuel Legerwood Patterson’s.  I think SLP is also excited to see Patterson’s mission continue to manifest with the leadership of our new Patterson School Incubator Farm Director. Welcome Kade!

Kade Castle

“My name is Kade Castle. I come from a family of farmers and cattlemen, and share that passion to continue my legacy and this way of life. I have experience with heritage cattle, mob grazing cattle and sheep, pastured ducks and poultry and much more. I have recently begun practicing no-till growing and “Organic” has always been my goal with everything I do.  I feel community, networking, and learning from each other as farmers and cultivators, is the greatest asset we have as a group. I want to change the world, one pasture at a time!”
